Two and Three Day Trips

Our multi-day trips are quickly becoming one of our most popular options for either the hardcore fisherman or just the family vacation. Run on our fully equipped 56’ boat the Ultimate, you’ll spend either 2 or 3 days on a long range fishing trip. These trips take us to some of the further away fishing holes that don’t see the same fishing pressure as the closer in spots. Though halibut fishing is are main objective, we often return to the dock with a catch of not only halibut, but depending on the time of summer,
also trophy size lingcod, rockfish, and salmon. These trips offer more than the quick overnight trip looking for just a two day limit. You’ll spend two FULL days of fishing for the halibut you see in the pictures; although you may not always catch them, your odds are better on these trips than any other.

The “Ultimate” sleeps 12 passengers plus crew, has a full galley for preparing meals, hot shower, 2 bathrooms, 110 volt AC, and plenty of room to spread out. Nights are spent anchored up in a protected harbor, where dinner is prepared and stories are shared. When you wake in the morning you’ll only be minutes from the prime fishing grounds. All meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages are provided.

Kenai River Fishing

Fish the world famous Kenai River for King or Silver Salmon or world class Rainbow Trout. We do all of our Kenai River trips with Tower Rock Lodge. Tower Rock is nestled right on the Kenai River only yards from where the 97lb. 4oz. world record King Salmon was caught. Let your hosts at Tower Rock, brothers Mike and Mark Tuhy and the staff at Tower Rock show you why the Kenai River is Alaska and the world's number one destination for King Salmon.

Fly out Bear Viewing and Salmon Fishing

Talon Air and Silver Fox Charters and Lodge have teamed up to offer our guests an amazing opportunity to view wild Alaskan Black and Brown Bears in their natural habitat. You'll fly via floatplane on an amazing 45 minute flight across Cook Inlet with some breathtaking views of the glaciers and mountains. Then fish for Red or Silver Salmon from the comfort of your boat, alongside the bears as they feed on the salmon returning to spawn. This is a great way to relax, unwind, and take some incredible photos, while still putting some fish in the freezer.

Both Tower Rock Lodge and Talon Air are located in Soldotna AK (75 miles from Homer). Please leave yourselves 1.5 - 2 hours travel time. Transportation is not included in rates, but can be arranged for you, if necessary.
